Conditions in the backcountry field change depending on the weather such as snowfall and wind. Just like ocean surfing, snow conditions change every day and are a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Depending on the weather, there are days when there are big waves and days when there are small waves. I think the fun of backcountry riding is to enjoy it according to the situation. Snow Surf Hakuba's backcountry tours will take you to the field with the best conditions at that time, depending on the weather. We would like to conduct tours under surf-like conditions, focusing on the terrain and snow quality. Not only snowboarders but also skiers are welcome.

Enjoy the charm of the backcountry as you explore the rich terrain that is dotted around Hakuba. We offer a variety of routes to suit the weather, from deep snow surrounded by trees to vast steep slopes. This is Snowsruf Hakuba's recommended plan for experienced people who want to enjoy the backcountry.

Hike time: 2 hours to 4 hours

tour
This tour is the only tour available to foreign customers. You can rent a tour for one person or for a whole group. All skill levels are welcome, from beginners to experts. The guide will tailor the tour to your needs. You can rent a guide for a group of friends or a shop tour, and enjoy the luxury of Hakuba's backcountry.
Price: ¥66,000 (tax included) up to 3 people
For groups of 4 or more, an additional ¥15,000 (tax included) will be charged per person.

Service
The Tateyama tour starts from Murodo at an altitude of 2,450m and allows you to ski on a variety of terrain. You can enjoy powder snow in November and granular snow from April to May. If you stay at a mountain lodge, you can experience unique experiences such as golden slopes illuminated by the setting sun over the Sea of Japan and gushing hot springs. The tour is held in November, April, and May.
